A Small Explanation

Hello everyone!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I look forward to sharing my experiences this summer with you.

I realize the title of my blog could be taken a couple of different ways, so I thought I better explain why I named it the way I did. "The art of losing myself" is a line from one of my favorite Hillsong songs, "From the Inside Out." For those of you who received a support letter from me, this is the same song I referenced there. The lyrics really speak to me, especially right now as I prepare for my trip. They are posted below so you can read them in full. I encourage you to listen to this song!

"From the Inside Out"
Hillsong

A thousand times I've failed
Still Your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in Your grace

Everlasting
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame

My heart and my soul, I give You control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise, become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame

My heart, my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out, Lord my soul cries out
